SOCIAL NETWORKS IN FAVOUR OF CALLS

The internet was not as well-aimed years ago. Was seen as a factor that contributes to the gap between society and the individual who used such a tool. However, this all changed with the arrival of social -
-networking and especially with the way it has been used in some purposes. It is increasingly common to use pages like Twitter and Facebook to collect transparency of government, to political demonstrations, charge ethical behavior of corporations and convene social movements.

A strong example is the events in two thousand and thirteen in Brazil, where several demonstrations expanded throughout the state. Protestants, who sought improvements in the country resorted to social networking to planning protests. Another excellent example is the so-called Arab Spring. Since 2010 riots were organized mainly by interactions via blogs, use social media to organize, communicate, and raise awareness and the international community.

Solidarity can also be enhanced via the internet. Was the case of floods in Rio de Janeiro, disasters triggered a major online mobilization. Million tweets were posted on the intention to collect donations for the needy. Finally, we mention mobilization of dissatisfied consumers by Twitter. If customer complaints before leaving in small bills in the newspaper, with a reduced impact now, the disclosure of a problem of a consumer web can have a global reach.

It is imperative the importance of using social networks as a tool of citizenship, democracy and popular mobilization. The traditional media is often is on the side of the minority, now the people have social networks as a tool for voice in the fight against what bothers. Good person should also mobilize against those who would riot and choose who will organize and mobilize for it to be organized. You must use this important weapon for the good of the collective. As a result, different societies have a more just and democratic society.
